Enter the nearest viewing distance to compare eligible pitches under the calculator's initial rule. Check the actual content, model specifications and quotation before choosing.
Every number comes from the published datasheet of the selected model. Final layout, control system and installation are confirmed by an engineer with your quotation.
The pitches we build most often. Each links to every series at that pitch.
Two planning assumptions. The initial rule compares pitch in millimetres with viewing distance in metres. The second estimate assumes one arc-minute angular separation: distance in metres ≈ pitch in millimetres × 3.438. Neither is a universal visibility threshold.
Compare the actual alternatives. Finer pitch can change price, resolution and power, but the direction and amount depend on the model. Use the actual quotation and datasheet rather than assuming a coarser screen always costs or consumes less.
Check representative content. Test the smallest required text and intended images from the nearest viewing position before deciding.
