Outdoor selection turns on two numbers this page cannot guess for you: how far away the nearest viewer stands, and how much direct sun hits the face.

• Distance first. Roadside and plaza sites usually sit far enough out that a coarser pitch reads perfectly well and costs considerably less per square metre.
• Brightness by orientation. A south-facing facade and a shaded underpass are different problems. Each series page lists its brightness from its own spec sheet.
• IP rating, front and rear. Check both faces — a screen sealed at the front but not the back is not an outdoor screen.
• Service access. Where there is no rear walkway, front service is not a preference, it is the only way the screen gets maintained.
