Exhibitions & Showrooms

Screens people walk right up to, in rooms where the lighting is designed around them.

In a showroom the audience closes to touching distance and the room is usually lit for the exhibit, not for the screen. That moves the decision towards a sealed surface, controllable low-end brightness and a seamless splice — a visible cabinet line on a single-image wall is the thing visitors notice first.

How to choose for this site

For meeting rooms an all-in-one display removes the processor, sender card and matrix entirely — it arrives assembled and calibrated and needs one power lead.

Where the screen sits behind glass or must not block daylight, a transparent series keeps the storefront open while still carrying content.

What a screen for this site actually looks like

How to read this page. The photographs illustrate the type of installation — they are visualisations, not photographs of delivered projects, and we do not attach a client name or a location to them. Everything numeric below is calculated from our published product datasheets: the pitch from the stated viewing distance, the cabinet layout from the real cabinet dimensions, the power from the datasheet W/m². Your own quotation confirms the final layout.

One continuous image across the whole wall, viewed from about two metres. Any brightness or colour step between cabinets reads as a defect, so per-pixel calibration coefficients have to travel with the hardware, not sit in a processor.

A wide wall above a physical model, read from three metres by groups standing rather than seated. Content is mostly static maps and renders, so refresh rate matters less than uniformity and long-term colour stability.

The screen is the backdrop to an interactive table, so the bottom edge sits low and gets brushed by visitors. Front maintenance and a robust surface matter more here than in a wall mounted out of reach.

A dark room with a bright screen: the contrast ratio and the black level of the lamp face decide how good this looks. COB packaging gives a deeper off-state than an SMD surface under the same ambient light.
